About the #1017UPNEXT Contest
Gucci Mane, a renowned rapper, and founder of 1017 Records has just released three freestyles with open verses on all major streaming platforms. To participate in the contest, aspiring rappers must:
- Download and listen to the three freestyles.
- Record their rap verses on the freestyles.
- Post their rap verses on social media with the hashtag #1017UPNEXT.
Gucci Mane and his team will be monitoring the hashtag, searching for their next big artist to sign. The winner will not only get signed to 1017 Records, but will also be featured on Gucci Mane's upcoming album, set to release on October 17, 2023.
